Tanner Valant

Tanner Valant, an emerging artist enrolled at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, employs a hyperrealistic technique with color pencils to distort and blend familiar societal images. Despite being largely self-taught, his artwork delves into the themes of equilibrium, duality, and our relationship with the world. Informed by personal experiences and keen observations, Valant skillfully depicts the harmonious coexistence of opposing elements, predominantly featuring the juxtaposition of natural elements and enigmatic chrome abstractions.
